Through finding old photographs of family members at weddings and other celebrations, I have found family trees and meanings of surnames. By exploring my family history in this way, I am seeking to find my own identity amongst my family.

the passing of time
2018. In this family portrait, the subjects are my close family, my mother, father, brother and myself. I chose to paint two versions of each of us, each person standing behind younger representation of themselves, resulting in a peculiar family portrait.
