cOMPOSITION OF tOAST
2016. Burnt toast was used to create this piece. I carried on the idea of parody as this famous painting is on a piece of burnt toast that will not be cared for, unlike the original painting, instead it will just be eaten or thrown away.

2016. Similar technique to 'Composition of Toast' with burnt toast, instead revealing the hand from the Sistine Chapel.
marmite marilyn
2016. Portrait of Marilyn Monroe in Marmite on toast. An experiment to see if creating a portrait in Marmite would be effective.
SON OF Marmite
2016. Marmite and toast portrait. This uses the idea of parody within my work by introducing work by a famous artist, such as Rene Magritte.
mOULDY mONA lISA
2016. I have used Marmite on toast to create this piece. This has grown mouldy over time, which emphasises the idea of temporary artwork. If seen in person, it creates the thought that this exact piece will never be seen again.
bREAD hEAD
2016. 16 pieces of carved toast stacked on top of each other to create the shape of a human head. This sculpture is about the temporary as it will not be around for a long time.
